Privacy policy

1. Controller

Antom Media UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Am BioPark 13, 93053 Regensburg, Germany
Managing director: Andreas Ehret
Email: info@antom.media

The operator is based in Germany; this policy follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is provided in English for your convenience.

2. Principles on this website

This website provides online calculators. All calculations run entirely in your browser. Values you enter into the calculators are not transmitted to our server or to third parties. If you use the “Copy link” function, your inputs are included in the link’s address – anyone who receives that link can see them.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted on a server operated by 1blu AG, Berlin (server location Germany) that we administer ourselves. When you visit, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). These access logs serve security and stable operation and are deleted after a short time as part of the usual rotation. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).

4. Settings stored in your browser

Your decision in the privacy dialog (if shown) is stored in your browser’s local storage under the key “campingrechner-consent” so that you are not asked again on every visit. Your choice of unit system is stored under “campingrechner-units”. Beyond that we do not set cookies or comparable storage techniques without your consent.

5. Contact form and email contact

If you write to us via the contact form, we process the details you enter (name, email address, subject, message), the time of the request and the page from which you submitted the form. To protect against abuse, our server also checks the submission frequency based on the IP address; for this purpose the address is held only briefly in memory and is not stored with the request.

The request is processed by our self-hosted automation software n8n (on the same server), stored in a Google Sheet and delivered to us by email (Google Gmail). The provider of these services is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; a transfer to the USA is possible. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (handling your request) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient processing). We delete the details once the request has been fully handled and no statutory retention obligations apply.

If you contact us by email, we likewise process your details solely to handle the request.

6. Advertising

No third-party advertising is currently embedded. Should this change, this section will be updated before activation and ads will only be loaded after consent.

7. Usage statistics

We use the open-source software Umami to see how many visitors the site has and which calculators are used. Umami runs on our own server in Germany (hosting: 1blu AG); no data is transmitted to third parties. Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

Collected: requested page, referring page (referrer), browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, country/region (derived from the IP address) and individual events such as “calculation run” – without the values entered into the calculators. The IP address is not stored; to group page views of the same visit, a non-reversible hash is formed from the IP address, browser identifier and a regularly changing random value. Browsers with “Do Not Track” enabled are not recorded.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in data-minimizing usage analysis (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object to the measurement at any time – the objection is stored only in your browser (localStorage entry umami.disabled):

8. Affiliate links

No affiliate links are currently embedded. Should we use partner programs, links will be labeled as “Ad” and this section will be updated.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Ansbach, Germany. Please send requests to info@antom.media.

10. Version

September 2026. We update this policy when the technical implementation changes.
