Advertising and affiliate links
CampingCalc is free to use. In the long run the site is meant to sustain itself through advertising and affiliate links – here's an open account of how that works and what it doesn't influence.
Advertisements
No ads are currently served. As soon as they are, they will be labeled “Advertisement”, visually separated from the calculator and only loaded after your consent.
Ads influence neither the formulas nor the results of the calculators.
Affiliate links
Below some calculators a section “Matching products and further information” may appear. The products linked there are affiliate links: if you buy through such a link, we earn a commission. The price does not change for you. The section is labeled “Ad”.
Our rules for this section:
- We only list real products with verified details. Prices are shown with the date they were checked.
- We do not claim that a product is technically suitable for your case unless we have verified it – calculator results are no substitute for professional advice.
- Selection follows the topic of the calculator, not the size of the commission.
We currently use no partner programs. As soon as we do, they will be named here.
